Full Itinerary
Day 1: Iquitos - Amazon Lodge
9:30 am departure by river to the lodge Lunch Excursion to the jungle to observe the enormous variety of flora. Observation of the little lion, the smallest monkey in the world Sunset at Zapote Lake Dinner Night excursion by boat to see caimans, nocturnal birds and mammals.
Day 2: Observation of pink dolphins and caimans
Breakfast Excursion to swim in the Amazon River and observe pink and gray dolphins. Observation of Victoria Regia, the largest aquatic plant in the world Lunch Iguana watching / piranha fishing Authentic visit to the village of San Juan de Yanayacu Dinner Night walk in search of huge tarantulas and frogs.
Day 3: Canoe Excursion - Exploration of Medicinal Plants and Lagoon
Breakfast Boat excursion to Lake Juanachi or Moena in search of different species of birds and monkeys Lunch Specialized excursion on local medicinal plants. Dinner Excursion by canoe to listen to the jungle at night.
Day 4: Jungle Hike & Boat Ride - Return Transfer
Boat trip and trekking to a remote and difficult to access lake. Filling in your checklist-bip diversity card with your guide. Lunch Ground transfer to hotel or airport.
